I actually think that the Raptors have created a bigger story out of this by firing her than they would have by keeping it quiet. I had no idea one of their cheerleaders was running a porn site until they fired her. Now everyone knows.

TheKing makes the same point I was going to.

No one knew she had the site, until the Raptors fired her and it became a big story. They could have quietly asked her to shut it down, or even just ignored it and no one would have known.

Now, if she does get rehired, everyone will know that shes got the site.

I bet the guys in the Raptors PR department will have fun with that one.

I'm curious to know what kind of message the Raps mean to send by firing a cheerleader who is operating a porn site.

Degradation of women is bad?

I'll bet she had more control over her own body operating the porn site than she did as a sex object for a professional sports team.

Porn isn't a sport, while Cheerleading is...as far as I've been told.

Porn involves getting naked in front of a camera and posting it on the internet or on cable TV. There isn't really anything sporty about it.

I use to think cheerleading was just exposure of women as well (it still is, but there is more to it).

Cheerleading is suppose to be competitive, involving dance, aerobics and gymnastics. There are national Championships for it.

Big difference from Porn.
